Within the semicon and medical industry, high demands are made on the cleanliness of products. These also apply to the molecular level, including hydrocarbon compounds. If mono or assembly parts are not cleaned properly, this can cause a disturbance in the end product of the customer. Within (precision) cleaning, qualification of products by means of Rest Gas Analysis (RGA) is a standard method.
Before the RGA scan, it is advisable to have the products treated in a vacuum oven to further remove any molecular contamination.
